It's been almost a year since my last journal post about commissions, so I want to give a heads-up. To be sure, I've worked through the backlog mentioned in my last journal post, but a fresh one has risen to take its place.
Many people have been patient as I work through the backlog; and for that I thank you. Some have wondered if I am still drawing. Rest assured, I am.
The problem lies in that my time is very limited. I have a job, social life, and aspirations outside of drawing for this gallery. This is mostly for fun, and I cannot treat it as a full-time business.
That said, please remember one of the key rules from my original post: do not contact me with questions about your commission's status or the status of the backlog. I will work on it when I can offer my full attention, and will not charge any price until such time. I have the right to reject a commission if I feel that the commissioner is being intrusive about the status or the docket. If I do reject after I've accepted payment, I will refund the remainder (minus whatever work I've already accomplished).
Plus, I realized that the front part of my gallery is nothing but commissions. I feel a need to balance the scales and draw what I want every now and again. Commissions are still open, but again I ask for patience as I work through the list.
