The Dark Fortress' Prisoner

Trouble has found Asuka yet again! She just can't seem to stay out of situations like this.

Her tempter is the Witty Phantom. I took the liberty of replacing his solid green eyes with pupils. Makes it easier to portray creatures as evil or crazy if they have a few human features. Hmm...

This pic was small milestone for me because I learned to draw the background by hand, as well as Asuka's semi-transparent face view. I usually rely on Photoshop to generate backgrounds that look technically superior, but don't really mix with the characters I've drawn.
